MTV Networks said Tuesday that it has realigned the management structure of its business and legal-affairs operations.
Sabrina Silverberg was promoted to executive vice president, music strategy and relations, and she will oversee strategic music-related transactions and policies for all of the programmer’s channels and businesses worldwide, including management of music transactions and issues handled by business and legal-affairs lawyers and by executives throughout MTVN worldwide, as well as for the MTVN Music and Media Licensing group.
And George Cheeks was upped to executive VP and general counsel for the MTVN Music Group and Logo. He will oversee day-to-day business affairs and legal operations for MTV: Music Television, MTV2, VH1, Country Music Television and Logo.
Both executives report to MTVN executive VP and general counsel David Sussman.
