Nachman Takes Leave for Surgery
By MCN Staff
published Following recent gallbladder surgery, MSNBC said vice president and editor in
chief Jerry Nachman would undergo surgery again after he was diagnosed with a
gallbladder malignancy.
"As my mother would have said in a frightened whisper, they found something.
So, in the technical language of surgery . they're going back in," Nachman said
on his program last night.
MSNBC will rotate anchors on Nachman while he is out.
Nachman said test results are "very reassuring," and MSNBC said it expects
him back "in a matter of weeks."
