National Geographic Studios, a production of Nat Geo Society, has promoted Jeff Hasler EVP of development and production, the network's President Brooke Runnette announced today.
Reporting to Runnette, Hasler will work as her partner and handle development, pitching and production of series and specials to the channel.
“As a lifelong fan of National Geographic, this is an amazing opportunity to contribute to an incredible organization with such an enduring legacy and important mission,” said Hasler in a release.
Hasler started out as a filmmaker and has worked for several television networks as a writer, director, executive and producer.
Award winning projects he has been involved with include, Queer Eye for the Straight Guy, Man vs. Wild, Cash Cab and more.
