Mid-Atlantic Sports Network reached a carriage deal with RCN Corp., AP reported.
The regional sports network holds the rights to Major League Baseball’s Washington Nationals and Baltimore Orioles.
RCN has systems serving Washington, D.C.; Falls Church, Va.; and southern Montgomery County and Gaithersburg, Md.
"This is the first cable deal, and there'll be more to come," Mid-Atlantic spokesman Vince Wladika told AP.
RCN will air some 60 Nationals games, and the club’s remaining contests will be available on RCN on over-the-air channel WDCA or as national telecasts on ESPN or Fox, according to AP.
