NBA TV Dunks Ratings Record With Spurs-Warriors Telecast
NBA TV’s Golden State Warriors-San Antonio Spurs telecast last night set an all-time ratings record for the network, drawing 1.4 million viewers.
The Jan. 25 game, in which the defending world champion Warriors defeated the Spurs in a blowout, beat out the previous high of 1.07 million viewers set by the May 2014 Atlanta Hawks-Indiana Pacers Game 6 NBA Playoffs telecast, according to the network.
Overall, NBA TV’s live game telecasts are averaging 317,000 total viewers this season, up 10% when compared with the same time period last year, according to network officials.
