Adelphia Communications Corp. said it is launching nCUBE Corp. video servers and video-on-demand packages in five more markets: Buffalo, N.Y.; Londonderry, N.H.; Plymouth, Mass.; Waterbury, Conn.; and Colorado Springs, Colo.
The MSO also said some existing VOD markets will see an expansion of service. The Southern California system (Beverly Hills, West Hollywood, etc.) will extend VOD service to Diamond Bar, Rowland Heights, La Habra, La Harba Heights and Brea.
nCUBE said it now serves six Adelphia markets for VOD. The company has also added Los Angeles, Cleveland, Buffalo and Staunton, Va., as digital-ad-insertion deployment sites.
