R. Wayne Nelson joined HDNet as executive producer for Dan Rather Reports.
Nelson had been the founder of Parachute Productions, a production studio specializing in developing, producing, shooting, writing and editing Web videos and promotional DVDs for both for-profit entities and nonprofit charities. He spent 20 years at CBS, rising to producer at 60 Minutes.
Dan Rather Reports will premiere on HDNet in October.
