Belo Corp. said Monday that Ray Heacox has joined the company as president and general manager of KING-TV (NBC), KONG-TV (independent) and NorthWest Cable News, all in the Seattle/Tacoma, Wash., area.
Heacox is currently a principal at Deft Management.
He succeeds Dave Lougee, who was promoted to senior vice president in January with responsibilities including oversight of Belo's group of television stations and cable news operations in the Northwest region.
