Joseph Varello has joined Cablevision Systems Corp. as vice president of digital-voice-product management.
Varello had been executive director of business development at Con Edison Communications.
In his new role, he will oversee the MSO’s digital voice-over-cable offering, Optimum Voice, including the ongoing development of the service, sales and marketing efforts and other aspects of product management.
Optimum Voice had more than 115,000 customers as of June 30.
