NFL Unveils Preseason National TV Schedule
The National Football League Thursday released its national television preseason schedule, a 13-game sampler that will include matchups featuring all 12 of last season’s playoff teams.
It all starts in Canton, Ohio Sunday, Aug. 3 on NBC when the Indianapolis Colts square off against the Chicago Bears in the annual Pro Football Hall of Fame Game. Ahead of the first preseason game of the year, former Redskins Darrell Green and Art Monk will be inducted into the Hall of Fame.
ESPN gets the call for the Thursday, Aug. 7 battle between the New Orleans Saints and the Arizona Cardinals as well as the Monday Aug. 11 game between the Brett Favre-less Green Bay Packers and the Cincinnati Bengals.
The defending Super Bowl champion New York Giants debut at home against the Cleveland Browns during an ESPN broadcast Monday, Aug. 18.
