Char Serwa was promoted to vice president of production at National Geographic Channel.
Formerly senior executive producer, Serwa will now manage the production department, which oversees the execution and production management of all the channel’s original programs.
Prior to joining NGC, Serwa worked at TLC, Audubon Productions for the National Audubon Society and Turner Original Productions.
In addition, Cindy Linnell was named director of production management and Joyce Romano was named director of program planning and budget.
Linnell comes from Tiger/Tigress Productions, where she supervised projects for Discovery Channel and Animal Planet. Romano was an independent consultant, prior to which she spent 20 years with Discovery Communications.
