Nick Going to the Movies

MTV Networks’ Nickelodeon Movies announced 13 upcoming feature films Wednesday.

The slate kicks off this fall with The SpongeBob SquarePants Movie and Lemony Snicket's A Series of Unfortunate Events.

The former, set to open Nov. 19, is based on the Nick cartoon of the same name. And A Series of Unfortunate Events will star Jim Carrey, Jude Law and Meryl Streep. It is being directed by Brad Silberling,

Other films under development include The Barnyard; Father Knows Best; Widow's Broom; The Spiderwick Chronicles; Mighty Mouse; We Do; Where's Waldo?; The Mark; Angus, Thongs and Full-Frontal Snogging; Sector 7; and Stargirl.
