Nick in a Licensing Mood
Nickelodeon will feature licensing programs for five new properties at the Licensing Show Tuesday-Thursday at the Jacob K. Javits Convention Center in New York, the network announced Monday.
The five new series are Nick’s Avatar and Danny Phantom; Nick Jr.’s Lazytown and The Backyardigans; and Nick Movies’ The Barnyard.
Other Nick properties being featured at the trade show are Rugrats spinoff All Grown Up (Nick) and Blue's Clues spinoff Blue's Room (Nick Jr.).
“We're thrilled to add exciting and fresh new shows to our current roster of hits,” Nick executive vice president of consumer products Leigh Anne Brodsky said in a prepared statement.
“Nickelodeon characters have resonated with kids of all ages and across many different media platforms, from movies and TV to books and video games,” she added. “We're excited about continuing to expand our portfolio with new properties in 2004 and beyond.”
