Nickelodeon said Tuesday that was the top-rated basic-cable network within the total programming day for the third quarter.
The network averaged 2.1 million total viewers during the period, according to Nielsen Media Research, up 11% versus the third quarter of 2003.
Nick added that it posted a 4.0 rating/1.3 million households in kids 2-11 and a 3.9/763,000 among kids 6-11, besting No. 2 Cartoon Network by 48% and 39%, respectively, and topping its third-quarter-2003 numbers by 8% and 11%, respectively.
