Time Warner Cable’s systems in New York and New Jersey are using optical Ethernet and storage-solutions equipment from Nortel Networks Inc. to enhance their commercial-services operation.
The MSO is using Nortel's Optical Metro 5200 and Metro 3500 multiservice platforms to offer businesses Ethernet connectivity. Those services include Ethernet Private Live, Ethernet Private LAN, Internet connectivity and private-storage solutions.
