Not Katy Perry: Paisley Is 'GameDay' Guest Picker
ESPN’s College GameDay is going country as Brad Paisley will visit Morgantown, W.Va., on the campus of West Virginia University on Nov. 1.
The native West Virginian will join host Chris Fowler and analysts Lee Corso, Kirk Herbstreit and Desmond Howard on the patio of Mountainlair Student Union. While this is only GameDay's second visit to Morgantown, Corso will be making his 250th headgear pick and looks to improve on his 171-78 record to date. Corso first officially donned the headgear on Oct. 5, 1996.
ABC will televise the game at 3:30 p.m. as the No. 20 Mountaineers face a tough challenge from the explosive 10th-ranked Horned Frogs of TCU,
For his part, Paisley, who is headlining his Country Nation World Tour, becomes the third guest picker from the musical realm this season, following Kenny Chesney from the show's Sept. 27 stop in Columbia, S.C. and pop star Katy Perry's appearance at The Grove in Oxford, where she correctly prognosticated the Rebels' upset of Alabama's Crimson Tide.
