Time Warner Cable of New York and New Jersey announced the launch of “Road Runner with AOL” Wednesday.
The operator said the customized broadband offering combines the features and benefits of America Online Inc.’s service with the high-speed connectivity of Road Runner, starting as low as $29.95 per month for the first six months.
Time Warner Cable and AOL are sister companies under the Time Warner Inc. umbrella
Time Warner Cable added that current Road Runner customers can receive complimentary AOL accounts with access to AOL content, features and functionality.
And the operator said subscribers interested in wireless access to Road Runner with AOL can obtain it for an additional $4.95 per month.
“Time Warner Cable operates the most advanced fiber-optic network, and now, we are combining our resources to provide customers with Road Runner with AOL to meet all of their information and entertainment needs,” Time Warner Cable of New York and New Jersey vice president and general manager of high-speed online services Joe DiGeso said in a prepared statement.
