New York 1 News segment “Wise Guys,” which can be seen every Tuesday night on Inside City Hall, is bringing back former New York City public advocate Mark Green to its ranks next Tuesday.
Hosted by Dominic Carter, Wise Guys is a political forum that includes former New York City Mayor Ed Koch and former Sen. Al D’Amato, plus a rotating weekly guest.
“My hope is to bring the same excitement to Wise Guys that Rosie O'Donnell brought to The View,” said Green, who left the segment when he ran for state attorney general last year. “Since Roger Clemens and Andy Pettitte are back with the Yankees, it's time to go back to Wise Guys.”
On the news of Green’s July 3 return, Koch said, “He was such a strong presence; I didn’t realize he was gone. Welcome home.”
Wise Guys can be seen Tuesday nights during InsideCity Hall at 7 p.m. and 10 p.m. on NY1.
