Video-encoder vendor Optibase said it sold an IPTV system to TVnet, a Hungarian Internet-service provider, which plans to launch an IPTV service in Budapest in December.
TVnet will use the Optibase MGW 5100 encoder to deliver MPEG-4 H.264 channels to IPTV customers.
Optibase, based in Herzliya, Israel, worked with a local systems integrator, Ring Net Telecommunications, to install the IPTV solution.
