Optimum Voice Adds Features

published Cablevision Systems Corp. has added a second set of features to its “Optimum Voice” voice-over-Internet-protocol service, including enhanced electronic mail, access to directory assistance and a Web portal.
The portal allows customers to listen to voice-mail messages, manage settings, forward calls and get a detailed review of their calling history.
Cablevision counts 71,000 VoIP subscribers. It offers a local, regional and long-distance calling package in the United States for a flat rate of $34.95 per month. Current features include caller ID, call waiting, call return, three-way calling, call forwarding and enhanced voice mail.
