Oxygen renewed its two top original shows.
President of programming and marketing Debby Beece said the women’s-targeted service sized up beauty competition Mo’Nique’s Fat Chance for a second go-round, with the comedienne set to crown the second “Ms. F.A.T. (Fabulous and Thick)” this fall, following 10 installments. Production on the full-figured reality show is slated to begin this summer.
Meanwhile, Beece also gave the thumbs-up to a sophomore season of Campus Ladies. A total of 10 new episodes, set for a fall debut, will continue to chronicle the wild times of two middle-aged women who start their lives over as freshman at the fictional University of the Midwest.
