Daniel Markell has joined studio Big Fish Entertainment, producer of A&E’s Live PD, as senior vice president of development. He comes from Sirens Media, where he was senior VP of development.
COMEDY CENTRAL
Comedy Central has promoted Matt Silvestri to vice president and creative director, brand creative, based in New York. He joined the network in 2005 and has served as creative lead for several of the network’s major campaigns.
CROWN MEDIA
Rachel Snyder has joined Crown Media Family Networks as director of social media, unscripted programming, responsible for Hallmark Channel unscripted content. She was lead strategist, integrated marketing, unscripted, at ABC.
GLOBECAST
Media solutions provider Globecast has tapped Gerry McAree as vice president, sales, East region. He comes from Intelsat, where he was director, North America media sales, based in Washington, D.C.
ORIGINAL PRODUCTIONS
Brian Lovett has joined Original Productions in Burbank, Calif., as executive vice president of production and development. He returns to Original from National Geographic Studios, where he was VP of production and development.
RUCKUS
Ruckus Networks has elevated Bart Giordano to senior vice president of worldwide sales. He has been a sales executive at the Arris unit since August of 2015 and has worked for Egnyte and Marvell Semiconductor.
