Comcast Cable tapped Dennis Matthew as senior vice president, Western New England Region. He was Philadelphia-based VP and general manager of Xfinity Home.

Kenny Gold was promoted to senior vice president, director of social media at Grey Advertising in New York. He had been senior VP, director of social media of the flagship Grey New York office.

LATV Network has added Max Ramirez as director of digital and brand sales partnerships. He has worked in digital roles with Musica Roots, Spanish Broadcasting System, iHeartMedia, impreMedia and MTV.

Sarah North has been named head of Shopify Studios, the content unit of e-commerce company Shopify. She was VP, head of television and OTT at Participant Media unit SoulPancake.

He had joined the network’s program planning, scheduling and acqusitions team in 2015. … CHARTER COMMUNICATIONS has named Bill Archer executive vice president and president of its Spectrum Enterprise business-services unit. He was managing director, business at Eir Group. … Media software company HUDSON MX tapped Judd Rubin as senior vice president, AgencyCloud. He comes from Comcast’s FreeWheel unit, where he was senior VP of revenue and marketing. … Scott Carlin has joined consultancy MAGID as executive vice president of global media and entertainment. Most recently an adviser to Tegna CEO Dave Lougee, he is former president of HBO Domestic Television Distribution.
