to vice president, business
and legal affairs, East
Coast at Comedy Central. She
had been senior director of the
department.

Gabriel Sauerhoff has been
named vice president, digital
media distribution at Discovery
Communications. He
comes from Disney and ESPN
Media Networks, where he was
senior director, digital video
distribution.
Separately, Julia Rao has been
tapped as chief financial officer
of the new Discovery Networks,
Sony and IMAX joint-venture 3D
network. She had been CFO of
several Discovery Networks U.S.
owned-channels, including Animal
Planet, Planet Green, Discovery
Health and FitTV.
Also, Mark Ringwald has joined
the yet-to-be-named 3D network
as director, scheduling and acquisitions.
He had been VP, programming
at AmericanLife TV.

Melissa Anne Muller has joined

as director, Hispanic marketing.
She comes from Univision
Communications, where she
was a national sales account
representative responsible for
Univision and Telefutura.

Atlanta-based Itaas has named
Roger Demuth as vice president,
engineering. He comes
from Ensequence, where he
was VP, engineering and senior

Also, Beth Erickson has joined

Azzaro and Kim Iadevaia
as directors, branded entertainment.
Azzaro had been a producer
