Comcast Ventures, the San Franciscobased venture capital affiliate of Comcast, has added Dinesh Moorjani as managing director based in Santa Monica, Calif. The founder and CEO of Hatch Labs, where he co-founded the dating app Tinder, he most recently served as executive-in- residence at Warburg Pincus.

Susan M. Swain, co- CEO of cable public affairs programmer C-SPAN, has been named to the board of directors at Discovery Communciations.

Neil Goetz has joined The Engine Room, a Los Angeles-based strategic creative think tank for entertainment companies, as executive creative director. Goetz is the former senior VP, worldwide marketing at Sony Pictures Entertainment.

Video compression products provider EuclidIQ in Concord, Mass., has named Dane Koettke as chief product development officer. He comes from Avid, where he oversaw the development of video and audio codecs.

Rachel Webber was named executive vice president of digital product at National Geographic Partners in Washington, D.C. She had been a senior VP at Fox Television Group, where she established the Brand Partnerships business.
NBC SPORTS GROUP
Princell Hair has been named senior vice president and general manager of CSN New England, NBC Sports Group’s regional sports network in Boston. He had been senior VP, news and talent at NBC Sports Group.
SHOWTIME
Showtime has added Brendan Countee as vice president of original programming, based on the West Coast. He comes from OTT subscription service Hulu, where he was head of comedy.
UNIVISION
Univision Communications has named Lourdes Diaz as president, entertainment, based in Los Angeles; and Adrian Santucho as executive vice president, Univision Studios, based in Miami.
VIACOM LABS
Kiel Berry has joned Viacom Labs in New York as co-head and senior vice president. He most recently served as co-head of Linkin Park’s Machine Shop Ventures unit.
Also, Susan Claxton was upped to senior vice president, co-head at Viacom Labs. She had been executive producer.
