Cable operator Atlantic Broadband has named Regan Anderson as director of select communities, a division focused on delivering service to residential properties and developments in Southeast Florida.

Chris Smith has been named vice president of sales and marketing of Comcast’s Greater Chicago Region, based in Schaumburg, Il l., and responsible for Central and Northern Illinois, Northwest Indiana and Southwest Michigan. He had been senior director of commercial development.
CTHRA
The Cable and Telecommunications Human Resources Association has named Eric Hawkins, senior vice president of human resources for Discovery Communications and OWN: The Oprah Winfrey Network, as president of its board for 2017.
Also, Elizabeth Casanas, senior VP of human resources at Showtime Networks, has joined the CTHRA board for 2017.

Gabriel Sauerhoff has been named senior vice president, digital distribution, at Discovery Communications. He had been VP, digital media distribution.
21ST CENTURY FOX
21st Century Fox has tapped Liba Wineg Rubenstein as senior vice president, social impact, based in Los Angeles and responsible for teams based there and in New York. She had been head of social impact and public policy at Tumbr.
POKER CENTRAL
Remko Rinkema was named senior editor at Poker Central, based in Las Vegas. The content provider also named two new staff writers, Paul Oresteen and Will O’Connor.
SPROUT
Chanon Cook has joined NBCUniversal-owned kids network Sprout as vice president, insight and strategy. She came from IFC, where she was VP, research and analytics.
Also, Dea Connick Perez will join Sprout as vice president, program strategy and acquisition. She was most recently principal of Dea Connick Perez Media Consultancy, where she oversaw acquisitions and programming for Qubo and Ion Life.
UNIVISION
Rosemary Mercedes was upped to executive vice president and chief communications officer at Univision Communications, based in New York. She had been interim head of corporate communications and public relations since last August.
