Ken Klaer has been named senior vice president of Comcast Technology Solutions and strategic infrastructure, leading the CTS organization. The former Cisco Systems executive was senior VP, premises technology at Comcast since 2014.

PENTHERA
Download-to-go software firm Penthera has named Daniel Hurwitz as chief revenue officer. Hurwitz has been an executive at such companies as SiriusXM, NBCUniversal Media and AOL.

EDGEWARE
Stockholm, Sweden-based video software provider Edgeware has named Karl Thedéen as managing director and CEO of the company. A board member, he was formerly the senior VP of Infinera’s Metro Business Group.

UNIVISION
Roberto Ruiz was promoted to executive vice president, research, insights and analytics at Univision Communications in New York. He had been VP of strategy and insights since 2008.

EUTELSAT
Gerry O’Sullivan was named executive vice president, global TV and video at Paris-based Eutelsat. The former BBC, BSkyB, Deutsche Telekom and ABC executive most recently worked at Digicel Group.

Danielle DeLauro has been elevated to executive vice president of the Video Advertising Bureau in New York. She had been senior VP, strategic sales insights.
