Peter Dinklage Wins Second Straight Emmy for Supporting Actor in a Drama
Peter Dinklage repeated as Emmy winner in the best supporting actor category in his last year of eligibility for his role as Tyrion Lannister on HBO’s Game Of Thrones. Dinklage bested actors Giancarlo Esposito, Jonathan Banks, Alfie Allen, Nikolaj Coster-Waldau, Michael Kelly, and Chris Sullivan for the statuette.
In a surprise, Julia Garner won the best supporting actress Emmy for her performance as Ruth Langmore in Netflix’s Ozark, besting four Game Of Thrones nominees as well as Killing Eve’s Fiona Shaw.
