Philly Incubator Gets Down To Business With Comcast
Comcast Business said Benjamin’s Desk, a Philadelphia-based incubator that helped launch companies such as Uber and Curalate, has picked the MSO as its exclusive network services partner for a mix of Ethernet, voice and TV services.
Among the services on offer is an Ethernet-fed 500 Mbps dedicated Internet line, support for the organization’s internal WiFi network, and VoiceEdge, Comcast’s cloud-based voice and unified communications platform.
Benjamin’s Desk aims to help members establish growth by connecting them to capital resources, economic partners, and networking events.
Comcast’s business services unit pulled in total revenues of $917 million in the first quarter of 2014, establishing an annual run rate of $3.66 billion.
