Phoenix Broadband Technologies Thursday announced it has created Power Agent Systems, a separate company that will sell and market its line of battery monitoring systems to cable operators, wireless providers and other industries.
Under the terms of the deal, both companies will work together to provide solutions to cable and wireless companies with an expanded suite of products and services to improve network power assurance. Through a network of resellers and direct sales, Power Agent Systems will market and sell the battery monitoring system into additional industries, including, but not limited to: data centers, healthcare, finance, transportation and government.
Power Agent will be run by cable industry veteran, Minturn S. Osborne. Osborne was most recently the top executive managing the Comcast account for RealNetworks.
