Lifetime Original Movie Plain Truth, which premiered Monday night, became Lifetime Television’s highest-rated movie of the year.
Plain Truth posted a 4.3 primetime Nielsen Media Research household rating, averaging 4.7 million persons two-plus and 3.8 million households, the network said Tuesday.
The movie starred Mariska Hargitay and Alison Pill in an adaptation of Jodi Picoult’s controversial best-seller with the same title.
