Plex Adds News to OTT Lineup
Building on its acquisition of Watchup earlier this year, Plex this week launched an OTT-delivered news service that curates content from several sources, including CBS News, CNN, Cheddar and Sky News.
The new, free offering also uses AI tools to help users personalize their news feeds, and also represents a follow-on to its Live TV and DVR offering for subscribers to the Plex Pass service.
