President Obama to Introduce History's 'The World Wars'
History has enlisted the commander-in-chief to introduce the network’s six-hour special event series The World Wars, which premieres on Memorial Day, May 26, at 9 p.m. ET/PT.
The series, which details the history of World War I and World War II as told from the perspective of men who held power like Roosevelt, Hitler, Mussolini and Churchill, will run for three consecutive nights. President Obama will introduce the first of the series’ three nights.
The series is narrated by Jeremy Renner, and it features interviews with active political figures such as Sen. John McCain, General Colin Powell, British Prime Minister John Major and Italian Prime Minister Mario Monti.
The World Wars is produced by Stephen David Entertainment, with Russ McCarroll, Paul Cabana and Elaine Frontain Bryant serving as Executive Producers for History.
