Style will debut I Propose, a docu-series on grooms-to-be and the steps leading up to their proposals, June 12 during the network’s annual 21-Day Wedding Party, officials said Thursday.
Shot in vérité style, each half-hour episode of I Propose reveals the romantic truth about the couple’s big moment, pulling the curtain back as the groom plans and executes what he hopes is the perfect surprise proposal. Unexpected roadblocks and complicated logistics bring unforeseen chaos as the hope-to-be groom works to create the perfect magic moment.
I Propose was developed by Elaine Brooks, senior vice president of development and new series, and executive producer Sarah Weidman, both with Style. Stone and Co. Entertainment produces the series with Scott Stone and Tracy Mazuer serving as executive producers.
