RCN Corp. Thursday joined the list of MSOs that have reached deals with Viacom Inc. to carry CBS’ HD feed.
CBS’ HD feed will be available in RCN’s Boston; Manhattan and Queens, N.Y.; Washington, D.C.; San Francisco; and Philadelphia and Lehigh Valley, Pa., markets.
"We’re extremely pleased to provide CBS in HDTV for our customers, " RCN chairman and CEO David C. McCourt said in a release. "The timing of this agreement is ideal, since RCN football fans can watch the Super Bowl this Sunday in high-definition format."
