Redneck Roast Rates for Comedy

published The Comedy Central Roast of Jeff Foxworthy became the network’s second-most-watched telecast ever Sunday night.
The special posted a 4.6 Nielsen Media Research household rating and a 4.1 among viewers 18-49. Comedy said it was last week’s highest-rated show in that demo, as well as the highest-rated nonsports cable program year-to-date.
The Comedy Central Roast of Jeff Foxworthy, which drew 6.2 million total viewers two-plus, trailed only the “Cartman's Mom Is Still a Dirty Slut” episode of South Park that debuted April 22, 1998, as far as Comedy’s history.
