Reinsdorf Moves to WarnerMedia
Andrew Reinsdorf has left AT&T's policy shop to move over to co-owned WarnerMedia
Reinsdorf has been named SVP government relations, overseeing federal and state legislative affairs for the AT&T media and entertainment arm, whose assets include HBO, HBO Go, Warner Bros., TNT, TBS, truTV, CNN, New Line, Cartoon Network, Adult Swim, and Turner Classic Movies.
“Andrew’s two decades of experience in media and content distribution uniquely position him
to advance the business priorities of WarnerMedia,” said John Stankey, AT&T president and WarnerMedia CEO.

He has been SVP of video policy at AT&T dealing with issues including law and regulation for video streaming so the move makes sense given the implications for the WarnerMedia stable of high-value video content.
Before joining AT&T, Reinsdord was SVP at the National Association of Broadcasters, served a stint at the Democratic Congressional Campaign Committee and ran DirecTV's Washington office (DirecTV is also owned by AT&T) as SVP.
