Rocksteady Networks Inc. -- which provides intelligent-bandwidth solutions for cable operators' edge networks -- said it has enhanced its “Network Sharing Application” with new features in its 4.2 software release.
The updates include actively detecting and making sure 911 voice-over-Internet-protocol calls get the bandwidth they need, full support of session-initiated-protocol proxy, service differentiation to accommodate heterogeneous-application requirements and user preferences and tiered-services support.
