Rousey Suffers Upset Loss At UFC PPV Event
UFC women's champion Ronda Rousey met her match last night as she was knocked out by fighter Holly Holm in the main event of the UFC 193 pay-per-view event in Australia.
Rousey, whose popularity has transended the mixed martial arts sport, was knocked out in the second round by Holm, who won the UFC bantamweight championship and ended Rousey's 12-fight undefeated run.
Rousey was treated for a concussion and facial cuts at a local hospital and skipped the post-fight media conference, according to the Associated Press.
