Microsoft Corp. cofounder Paul Allen’s right-hand, Bill Savoy, quit as vice
president and chief executive of Vulcan Inc.’s portfolio- and asset-management
team.
Vulcan said Savoy will remain on the board at Charter Communications Inc.,
which is controlled by Allen.
The company added that Savoy will continue to advise it through a consulting
agreement.
Savoy had worked for Vulcan and its predecessor companies since 1988.
Vulcan is searching for a replacement.
