Michael Portugal has joined Scripps' Northeast affiliate-sales team as regional manager. Portugal had been with QVC Inc. Meghan Waters Ballantyne has been promoted to account executive, Northeast, from field-marketing manager. Jody Andrean and Amy Karrow have joined the company as field-marketing managers, Northeast. Andrean had been a Northeast-region marketing assistant at MTV Networks, and Karrow had been marketing and research administrator at E.W. Scripps Co.-owned WXYZ-TV in Detroit.
Stacey Case has been promoted to Midwest regional account executive, from field-marketing manager, Midwest. Jacquie Manatrey, formerly Midwest regional coordinator, has been upped to Case's former post.
