The Society of Cable Telecommunications Engineers said Thursday that its Conference on Emerging Technologies 2006 in Tampa, Fla., attracted 1,028 attendees.
The trade group said that figure was up 10% versus the 2005 confab in Huntington Beach, Calif., and up 51% from the 2003 event in Miami, the last time ET was held in Florida.
ET 2007 is set for Tuesday-Thursday, Jan. 23-25, with the location yet to be determined, the SCTE said.
