SEC Accepts Blacker Settlement Offer, Pending Judge’s Approval
By MCN Staff
published The Securities and Exchange Commission has approved a settlement offer made to Telemundo executive Peter Blacker, according to a federal court filing dated Sept. 11. The regulator had accused Blacker of improperly booking sales revenue during his tenure at StarMedia.
The settlement must be approved by U.S. District Court Judge Richard J. Holwell of the Southern District of New York. If and when that occurs, “the proposed settlement would resolve all claims against defendant Blacker in this case.”
Specifics of the settlement have not yet been made publicly available.
