The Securities and Exchange Commission subpoenaed former Gemstar-TV Guide
International Inc. CEO Henry Yuen and chief financial officer Elsie Leung,
ordering them to testify for its investigation into the company's accounting
practices.
Gemstar said it was "disappointed" that Leung and Yuen, the latter of whom
remains chairman, had to be coerced with subpoenas.
