MTV Networks said Wednesday that its services around the world will feature Shakira's first-ever televised live performances of songs from her new multiplatinum Spanish-language album, Fijación Oral Vol. 1.
Her performance, featuring both English and Spanish tracks, was filmed at Madrid's Las Ventas bullring in front of 15,000 fans. Shakira also performed songs from her 2001 multiplatinum album, Laundry Service.
MTV Live Shakira will debut on MTV Spain Wednesday, on MTV: Music Television in the United States Thursday, on MTV Hits in the United Kingdom July 23, on MTV Latin America July 30, on MTV France Aug. 1, on MTV Central (Germany, Austria, Switzerland) Aug. 13 and on MTV Japan Sept. 5.
