After leaving the presidency of ABC Family late last year, Angela Shapiro is back in the News.
News Corp. announced Thursday that Shapiro has been named president of Fox Television Studios.
Shapiro assumes her new post May 24, and she will report to News Corp. president and chief operating officer Peter Chernin.
Fox Television Studios produces shows such as Fox's Malcolm in the Middle and The Bernie Mac Show and FX's The Shield.
