Showtime Posts First Fonfara-Stevenson Fight on YouTubein Advance of Rematch
Showtime Sports will turn to YouTube to promote its June 3 Adonis Stevenson-Andrzej Fonfara light heavyweight championship boxing telecast.
The network will post the two fighters' competitive 2014 fight on its YouTube channel beginning today, according to network officials. Stevenson defeated Fonfara in a close decision in which both fighters scored knockdowns.
The Stevenson-Fonfara rematch will air live on Showtime this Saturday as part of a fight card that will also feature the Eleider Alvarez -- Stevenson’s mandatory challenger for the light heavyweight title -- against former 175-pound champion Jean Pascal, said the network.
