Showtime Sets Titus Special
Showtime will air a comedy special featuring Fox sitcom Titus star Christopher Titus sometime in 2004.
The one-hour special will be based on Titus’ one-man show, Normal Rockwell Is Bleeding, according to Showtime.
The announcement follows a similar comedy special arrangement with Dave Chapelle, also slated to premiere in 2004.
"Christopher Titus is an exceptional performer. His stage show -- which is based on his real-life experiences growing up in an incredibly dysfunctional family -- has been generating great acclaim within the industry," Showtime Networks Inc. president of entertainment Robert Greenblatt said in a prepared statement.
"His ability to find humor in even the most tragic situations is truly remarkable," Greenblatt added.
