Stanley S. Shuman has resigned from the board of directors of News Corp.
Shuman, managing director of Allen and Co. LLC, has been a News Corp. director since 1982. He will continue his association with the company as director-emeritus, attending board meetings but not voting on resolutions, News Corp. said.
The company added that Shuman would not be replaced, and that its board would be reduced to 13 directors.
