Sling TV Reignites Fire TV Deal
Sling TV, Dish Network’s OTT-TV service tailored for cord-cutters, said it is again offering $50 off Amazon’s new Fire TV to subscribers who prepay for three months of service.
The new Sling TV device bundle comes almost two months after Amazon introduced a new Fire TV model that supports 4K video and sells for $99.99.
“Back by popular demand, Sling is now offering the Amazon Fire TV Bundle for a limited time only,” Sling TV announced on its blog, noting that customers must redeem the offer before the end of 2015.
Back in February, Sling TV was offering a similar bundle that offered a $50 discount on the previous-generation Fire TV box or a free Fire TV stick.
Sling TV still offers a variety of service-OTT device bundles to customers who agree to prepay three months of service. Earlier this week, Sling TV began to offer a free Google Chromecast to prepaid customers, as well as a free two-month trial of its core video package to existing Chromecast owners.
Sling TV continues to offer free or discounted device bundles of the Roku Streaming Stick, Roku 3 or Android TV-powered Nexus Player.
